Day 3 - Inland

Travel north on A3 for approximately 10 km and turn left on the Lake Leake Highway B34.

Flatrock Lookout: (19km from Swansea) looks over Oyster Bay giving a panoramic view of the entire area.

Meetus Falls: (40km from Swansea) is next, turn right off the highway at the Lake Leake information booth follow the signs. Access is on weekends and public holidays, as log trucks use the road weekdays. A short walk (15 min return) is necessary to reach the Falls; picnic, barbecue facilities and toilets are available.

Lake Leake: is a popular trout fishing and picnic spot, barbecues available near the lake.

Currawong Lakes: superb trout fishing, a magnificent picnic spot and barbecues available near the lake a great bushland holiday.

Campbell Town: an interesting historic town connects you with the Midlands Highway. Right to Launceston Left to Ross and Oatlands.

Ross: Historic bridge and buildings, ruins of women's prison and craft shops.

Oatlands: Historic town located on the shores of Lake Dulverton. Georgian buildings. (For an extremely full day, continue further south to Pontville across through Teatree taking C321-C322, which will bring you to Richmond, another historic town steeped in history with many craft shops. To return to Swansea, you must connect with highway A3. The old Buckland Church and Buckland's bazaar are well worth the stop).
